MAGNETIC RECORDING

Magnetic is a recording & production studio located just north of Athens, Ga. Owned and operated by Deke Spears. The studio features a mix of modern and vintage equipment and is helmed by Deke and his distinct production techniques. Magnetic is the recording home of several Atlanta and Athens based songwriters. The studio features an isolated control room with a carefully diffused, sound treated mixing environment and a vaulted, barn style tracking room with movable baffles for isolation. Magnetic currently operates as 16 track studio with 8 channels of analog tape, apogee converters and Pro Tools 12.
