ABOUT DEKE
Deke is a founding member of the indie rock band Quiet Hounds. A self taught musician, Deke has toured the world as a multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer. He currently owns and operates Magnetic just north of Athens, Ga where he produces music for a variety of bands and singer/songwriters. Outside of recording he also works as a consultant for studio and venue design. He has most recently worked on projects with the Goat Farm Arts Center, CineMassive and the Songs For Kids Foundation. Along with the rest of the Quiet Hounds, Deke has developed a slew of immersive concert experiences, putting to good use his knack for sculpting sound in non-traditional environments. Growing up the son of a cabinet maker inspired Deke to hone a craft for woodworking, using those skills on many of his design projects. Deke is a lover of animals, an aspiring yogi and has the power to inspire the people around him to be the best versions of themselves!
